"'A picture is worth 1000 words,' just as a word is worth 1000 pictures."
-- Kent Roberts
Writer & Editor
Kent Roberts is a writer and editor in two capacities. As a humorist, he is the coauthor, with New Yorker contributor Andrew Barlow, of Portrait of Yo Mama as a Young Man, a Random House-published book People magazine called "hilarious." His humor has appeared in The New York Times, as a column in ADDitude magazine, and in Kent, a satirical self-coverage publication he launched while a student at Brown University. The creation of Kent resulted in him editing former The Onion editor-in-chief and TV writer Carol Kolb and to two stints of regular contributing, with one headline leading to two waves of international press. He has also edited Vought Rising showrunner Paul Grellong and two-time Pushcart Prize winner Paul Maliszewski.
Roberts is also a business writer -- content, copy, publicity, and ghostwriting. His content-marketing ghostwriting -- both thought-leadership articles and CEO responses to reporter interview questions -- has appeared in Forbes BrandVoice, Entrepreneur, TNW, Network World, and Becker's ASC, as well as on the sites of professional associations including ISACA (IT governance), HBMA (healthcare business), and HFMA (healthcare finance). He has written a continuing education course for sustainable agriculture, to instruct farmers and ranchers on how to produce and introduce biochar to their operations. He has penned so many blogs for a variety of industries that it would make you sick.
